Welcome to M/A! As a Generation 1 owner of 3 MINIs, I cannot be of the slightest help to you, but I am positive that others on here [when they come "on"] will be able to offer suggestions to help solve your problems.
I already have what is on that site, but it doesn't explain how to remove it. I bought a few different small plastic pry bars from Advance Auto today. Maybe I can pry them apart. Thanks for taking the time to help.
I wasn't much help. I will look in the Bentley manual today and see if it has anything. I could see is I could get them apart on my wife's R57 but that would be bad for my health
