Use a fluid transfer pump, turkey baster, or large syringe with hose, to suck the fluid out of the reservoir before disconnecting it. Will reduce spillage to a few drips, vs. a torrent.

Or did you mean how do you remove all the remaining coolant in the CAR?

If that's the question, there's a how-to somewhere for draining the coolant.

Just use a straw and suck it out.

It's good for you and will keep your body warm in the cold Winter months.

Get your most annoying neighbor to suck on the straw.

you can just unbolt it and twist it out of the way, no need to drain it.
