Anybody have a good suggestion for replacement bulbs for a non HID Mini? Mine are really weak and in the winter they get used more so I want to replace them soon. Did Silverstars on my wife's car and they are OK, but wonder what others have tried.

I suggest the Osram Rallye 65W Ultra High Output bulbs for both the low and high beams. I installed these a couple years ago and they are great. I have no problem using them on my daily driven MCS. Just make sure they are aimmed correctly. They the brighter than any supposedly brighter H7 bulbs that I have purchased from autoparts stores. They are also cheaper than the autoparts bulbs. They also seem to last longer, they have not burned out yet.
They can be purchased for $20 each from candlepower at:

I agree that the Daniel Stern site is good. That is where I got the idea to try the H7 Osram Rallye 65W Ultra Output bulbs and I am very happy with the choice.
Note: The Mini light wiring can easily handle 65W.
