    I'm assuming it's pretty straight forward. I've ordered a set of aftermarket ones for my R56, which should be arriving soon. I'll let you know how it goes.

    Are these the lights with the halo daytime running lights? Installation is not a simple swap — it is somewhat involved and requires adding and modifying wiring.

    MCS02: I'm replacing the entire light not just bulbs but thank you for the info you provided.
    rkw: yes these are the led drl/parking/fog light kit offered by Mini and thank you for the detail instructions. I'm thinking this is beyond a diy project for a novice mechanic as myself, not to mention the specialty tools required to undertake this project. I also have a call out to my dealer requesting a quote on installation.
