Anything on carbon removal from DI systems (R56) and the mileage service interval for this? Or recommended additive usage for the control of Carbon buildup in the intake valve tracts?

What's the torque setting for the bolts to the engine for the mounting bracket that connects the lower engine mount to the side of the engine for the R53 MCS?

R52 door panel & lower control arms

I'm ready to replace my front OEM speakers with Polk 6501's, so I need to get the panels off. I'm also replacing my rear lower control arms with TSW's, and could use a picture or two if they're available. Thanks for the offer to help!
Update20100927: Control Arms installed. Not that big a deal really. A little tricky getting a socket on the nuts of the upper bolts, but a swivel and a short 18mm socket will get it done. Still hoping to see something on removing the door panels.

    Replacing the stock Injectors

Are there any write ups on removing the stock 330cc injectors for R53?
I'm looking to do a tune up soon but I need to check my injectors to see if it is stock or not.. If I need it I will upgrade to jcw 380cc...

I assume you are referring the the plug price and not the socket. Socket is $5 ($50 @ MiniMania LOL)

They're something like 14 ea. for plugs. Look up these numbers @ parts.com

    This is so easy....

    it's doesn't really require a write up.

Take of IC (cover first, boot clamps pull away).
    Take off connectors from injectors.
Release gas pressure by method of choice (rag around hose connector or Schreader valve).
    Remove fuel feed.
Remove vac line from pressure regulator.
Use compressed air to blow dirt off from base of injectors.
REmove two bolts that hold the rail in place.
Pull out fuel rail with injectors attached.

It's a really fast job. It's good to have some o-rings around, as the ones at the tips of the injectors get cooked and can stick to the intake manifold and tear. If you're installing new they will be on the new ones. If you're having your injectors cleaned they will replace them anyway.

    Thanks Adam

I found the plugs on Amazon for that cost.

I didn't pay the MINI mania price. I did pay about $30 and feel like a bit of a noob (which in a allot of instances I am) but it is magnetized and getting the plug out and in of the 6-8" vertical access tube to the plugs was a breeze. Not so sure it would have been so easy with a straight 12pt 14mm socket

Any chance you have access to Service Bulletins? I'm looking for SIB 12 02 05, which is hopefully related to a P0136 code. Thanks!

    Sunroof Adjustment Question

I am getting a lot of wind noise with my sunroof closed on my R56 S. I checked the TIS specs and it says the leading edge of the glass should be at least 1 mm below the roof line. The trailing edge of the front glass is suppose to be 1 mm above the front edge of the rear glass, and the trailing edge of the rear glass should be at least 1 mm above the roofline. My trailing edge of the rear glass is about 10 mm below the roofline.

I have seen some comments on various forums about 4 adjusting T25 screws, but I want to know where they are. Are they on the pivots that lift the sunroof? Any advice on doing the adjustment?

    Thanks in advance.

    Cheers,
    Greg

I am looking for step by step instructions on resetting the service monitors (oil, brakes, etc.) on a 2011 hardtop. Have been searching the site (search function with obvious key words) but nothing clear as of yet. Can someone direct me to a thread that may contain this information our post the service manual section on these resets?
