I don't go over to the sewing site very often. Maybe it's that as I'm getting older, I can't see to thread a needle anymore. But it seems like the kids that got picked on during recess in elementary school have gotten their revenge on society. They're tailors at the sewing site!

For the record, I don't know any of the admin guys over there. but I do know Nathan. He ROCKS!

When supporting vendors get banned, do they get a pro rated refund? :frown2:

 

It's pretty crazy over there at the moment, no one is really sure what they can and can't write about (IE is it ok to say you have an RMW or TPR head, as they're both banned people/vendors?). It's going to be very difficult to talk about any engine modification at all.

The tally of banned members has increased dramatically over there past 2 weeks...It'll be to the benefit of this site though.

 

Yep....there was a thread that was closed because the OP was saying how RMW was such a help in getting his mods done. There was no bickering or chest thumping, just a nice post in his experiences.

The reason given for locking the thread was that a banned member was being discussed.

They gave Jan what appears to be a permanent boot this time, it appears the mods have been after this for awhile.

I just had an GP Intercooler/DDM diverter and 15% pulley package courtesy of Way, And RMW Head, Header, 440's and Grand Am cam, remote tune, and it came out great--I was going to write it up both here and there, I'll probably just write it up here though, I'm seriously thinking I'll get infraction points for writing it there. You can't even mention an RMW product without getting a warning at the moment. Maybe that will cool off, because people mention TPR and aren't getting infractions; with time maybe sanity will prevail. I'm not betting on it though; a couple of the mods have actually taken shots at RMW in threads....

It really got ugly with the whole Sprintex thing; people have been baiting each other in threads in what appears attempts to get a response that will lead to a ban--it's bad. It also doesn't appear to be a level playing field at the moment; certain people can get away with baiting and pretty much saying anything, whereas others are getting slapped for infractions for relatively minor things. It used to be the pendulum was swung slightly toward RMW over there, it's definitely the opposite now. Somewhere in the middle would be nice....


With a mere grand total of 50 infraction points I got a couple of months ago, I'm relatively safe for the moment, but it's to the point where you can't even post something informative about a product and potentially face a ban.

Yes the mods over there have totally run amuck....ridiculous.

 

I had the wife post some stuff for sale over there (lets face it, you people are useless when it comes to buying my used junk). She still has her MiniNUT signature. FWITW

 

I think anyone who cares to could set up another username & account. Not that anyone would want to. :crazy:
