There is a park that is known
4 the face it attracts
Colorful people whose hair
On 1 side is swept back
The smile on their faces
It speaks of profound inner peace
Ask where they're going
They'll tell U nowhere
They've taken a lifetime lease
On Paisley Park
Guess he decided to join them - thanks for the music Prince.

So great a contribution to music. So much groove.
I'm listening to local radio The Current 89.3 here in Minneapolis which is running all Prince for the rest of the day and DJ's telling some stories. It's a nice way to share. -

A true original. A great performer and composer...unfortunately, yet another who has left us way before his time.

I was wondering why the local classic rock station was playing so much Prince music.
What killed him? -
I've read that there are two theories on what killed him....
1. He saw the new Chubman in person
2. He had read that not only could you fix a coolant expansion tank with JB Weld but that it makes a good sammich spread as well

But that is some funny S__t!!!
PS...wouldn't you rather have JB Weld on a sammich, than on your car? -

I can't claim to be a Prince fan, but he was, in my opinion, a smart man, with virtuoso guitar talent. Some people play the guitar, while others make a guitar sing. IMO, Prince was one of the rare people who could make a guitar sing.
The fact that he was two years older than I am when he died makes me think that maybe I need to up my game a notch or two.

A little too much funk and falsetto for me, but I respected him as a very talented,
innovative, prolific musician, and as a person. I hear people comparing the tragedy
of his death to that of Michael Jackson:crazy:, but Prince was in a whole other league in
my opinion.
