    A huge loss. I loved reading his books and always looked forward to the next in the Jack Ryan series. That being said I think Red Storm Rising was my favorite.

    I'm going to miss him. I looked forward to each new book just like looking forward to a new Star Trek movie...

    He was a wonderful author.

    What a shame, Vince Flynn a few months ago and then Mr. Clancy.

    He was always a great PR guy for the Navy. The level of access he was granted by the Navy brass always amazed me.

    Loved his novels. RIP.

    It's a shame, but his books weren't as good after the fall of the Soviet Union.
