In honor of Click (or is it Clack?) I've been listening to some Car Talk clips and laughing my head off. Laughter is good for you so here are a few of the best I found. Enjoy.

Thanks Steve. The "cream rinse" show was one of the all-time greats.
I still rely on the syndicated Car Talk podcasts every other week, my chance to escape the claustrophobia of coach air travel, stick in the ear buds, close my eyes, and squander a perfectly good hour with grins and laughs. This, coupled with the fact that I lost my own Dad to that damn disease at the exact same age of 77, somehow makes Tom's passing deeply affecting. Mostly I think it's just knowing that the book has closed on a great life, one that was able to bring much happiness to so many people just by being honest and authentic. The world is just a little worse off now without having Tommy in it.
His beloved Dart awaits him for an eternity of happy motoring.-

I read those two for years and never listened to their live show much. Sad to see him pass, but guess they needed a little advice upstairs...

Memories of Tom & Ray
I have no idea when I first started listening to Click and Clack on the radio, but is was a long time ago. I first started because I was a car buff and there were few if any other car shows. Then of course I started to enjoy their humor which was nearly nonstop.
Over the years, I never ceased to be amazed at the number of people who listened to their show, yet who had little if any interest in cars. A car to many was merely transportation between here and there, but wouldn't miss an episode of Car Talk.
I remember one of their favorite callers was Arup Gupta. They enjoyed his beautiful accent and had great fun rolling their r's as he did in pronouncing his first name.
Few of us will get the chance to leave such a favorable impression on so many.
