    Does Jan still charge like $100 to reset ? anyone know ?

    It's not Jan that charges, it's the company that makes the tool.

    So you can bypass him and send direct to the company for reset?

    IF.........you put the stock tune back on the car with this tool it is open and ready to use.........if you didn't it will have to be reset by the factory

    I don't think you can because the company that makes the tool will refer you to Jan in the U.S.

    Jan is the vendor that sells the tool and validates the user with the car and the company that makes the tool.

    And for the record, the flash tool also reads and clears codes quickly, at the price you're selling it at, it would be a nice pick up for someone who needs an RMW tune, and also is in the market for a scanner.

    Ok, so I emailed Jan, it's 150 EURO (approx. $191USD) to have it reset for a new car. It'd be cheaper to buy it new at $300 than buy yours, sorry.

    it is less to have this tool reset. The Dimsport is $150 EURO..........this is the ALIENTECH tool........ I believe it's $60 euro but has to be sent to Italy
