    Nice work Jan.

This is really how a MINI RACECAR is built the right way.

I bet this one does not turn out to be a coffee table.

This car sucks. Don't even get me started on all the things that are wrong with it... Wait.. crap... sorry... have not been around that much lately... forgot which forum I am on and which side I used to take... I know somewhere Nitro's head is getting ready to explode...

    Looks good, Jan!

The difference between this scratch built MINI and "other" projects is that this one will actually be finished...

Even with a stock motor, at the weight of this thing, it'll still be brutally quick. No corners cut here.

This is, by far, the single most comprehensive set of photos I've ever seen which captures the construction of a race-built MINI. I can't wait to see it run Jan!

I like the mockup photographs, you will have to look closely to see that it is purpose built.

Well done, I hope to see it rolling around a track near here. :)

    The renderings are awesome looking.

I know that you said it would be available in multiple configurations but what are your targets performance wise?

Quite the spread.... guess the buyer's wallet becomes the limiting factor at that point.

More than just money, driving ability too. At 250 WHP, most people will be able to drive it fast with a fairly short learning curve, given it's weight distribution. 600WHP, you're getting into professional driver territory, not everyone can handle that. Nice thing though it that mods on this engine have been so well sorted out that you can always move up. This is a VERY purpose built car, and it really doesn't need a ton of WHP to be competitive. 600WHP in this is going to put you in rare air, perhaps literally if you don't know how to drive it.

When you're this light, even "just" 250 WHP is going to be fast, very fast, but manageable. It'll still have a better HP to weight ratio (and more WHP, since the 260 is at the crank) than an Exige 260, and with the aero, should be pretty close in that department. And those suckers are friggin' rockets.

Jan --- I'm booked for HOD that Sat. Plan to just watch friends run on Sun. Any chance I can schedule a lap around the track with you? Gonna be a pretty long line wanting rides once the word spreads.
