Good luck Team RSR. I wish you good weather & clear track tomorrow. All of us guys in the Old Fart Motoring Club will be pulling for you.

Supposed to be nice this weekend.
Wish I could get out there (on call this weekend), I saw one of the cars running with MVP track time last fall (there was also a Challenge car there too), you guys are FAST on that track, it's fun to watch for anyone who can make it out there, definitely worth it. -

I guess this means they're well set up and the drivers are really on their game. Well done! Fingers crossed for the race. -
N2MINI MINI of the Month
That's great on 3 top 10 finishes but a bummer to run around for the last hour under caution....
I assume from your frustration that you thought ya'll could have even BETTER finishes had it not been under caution??? How did Schrader do?? any chance he'll be in the car again?? -

I think that Kenny REALLY enjoyed himself!
Per the Grand-Am site:
"This is as much fun as I've ever had in a race car. This is fantastic. It is really neat. What a beautiful facility. My biggest surprise driving the Mini was the brakes, and how it stops on a dime. I have a little problem when the right-rear tire comes off the ground - where I grew up, that ain't good." - Ken Schrader, No. 195 RSR Motorsports Mini Cooper S

Congrats on a fine finish Team RSR.
Was the caution due to weather or cleaning up someone's mess? -

"The race ended under caution after Nico Rondet crashed hard into a barrier that destroyed the ST pole-winning No. 18 Insight Racing BMW 328i with 24 minutes remaining and significantly damaged the wall."

That's pretty sad given the entire race was scheduled to run just 2.5 hours...a single hour of racing interrupted by 1.5 hours under yellow. :nonod: -

I hope Nico Rondet is OK. Yikes, must have been a hard hit.

Rondet was running fourth in the class when the Insight Racing BMW crashed heavily nose-first into the barrier in Turn 2. Rondet escaped injury, quickly stepping from the car and walking away; however, the barrier was damaged too heavily for the race to be restarted in the remaining time.
