A couple of videos from Road America friday, with the PCA (Porsche Club of America). Drift HD camera, it's mounted a little too low, lighting is off bit, and sound is a work in progress, but it's MUCH better than my first efforts, believe it or not. The setup does help--you can see where there's speed to be had, where the line could be better, etc. In retrospect, the GoPro is probably a better idea, now that there are data loggers that can overlay the video. Session 1, a quick video, chasing down a Z06 (not great laps here, first session of the day and it shows): [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=70bHhVT_5dw]Chasing a Z06 - YouTube[/ame]
And the meat and potatoes of the second session (cut out the warm up lap and last couple of laps to get it under 15 minutes), for the hardcore: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tmeGijfTqiM]Road America PCA Session 2 - YouTube[/ame] Unfortunately, my camera died during the third session; bummer, because the 4th session was by far my best. Love having the camera in the car, it really shows where you can improve; it'll help get ready the next time. Hopefully the pictures will be better next time.
