Roadster has arrived. Going to pick her up as soon as I get home from work.

 

Meet Ms Scarlet

 

Congrats and we picked one up today!

 

Here is a pic of my wifes JCW Roadster

 

ostcountSteve, they said that to Mrs.lotsie, and if they don't at least give us rubber floor mats, well the whole fury, woman thing will befall them:lol::wink:

We were going to name her Scarlet, but MIA may stick

 

Lois, I'll always remember meeting you for the first time in Hill City at the inaugural HPMS event, back when I had my '05 PW/B. We were both up at the crack of dawn (despite the below freezing temp) to be first in line at the local car wash.

A CR Roadster, eh? It appears that great minds continue to think alike.

I remember reading this book when I was a wee lad (still available on Amazon, BTW) and ever since I couldn't imagine owning a R59 of another color...

Not right this minute Mark, but YES, there will be another MINI and it will be a Coupe. My dealer is in Baltimore, so that will help. Maybe they will open a MINI outlet store, with discount, slightly damaged cars and parts. :cornut:

Well after meandering around out at sea, on what I guess was a party boat, our Roadster has landed in Baltimore

Dealer called and said they hope to get her to STL on Wednesday

 

The NJ place got hit pretty hard in the hurricane, not sure how they will deal with processing her...

 

Will that Coupe be followed with a S:devil:

So our Roadster is MIA along with 5 other MINIs. MINI USA says the cars are at the dealer, our online tracking says the cars are at the dealers, the dealers tracking says the cars are at the dealers. The cars are NOT at the dealers, and it seems nobody can track the truck.

MINI USA says ownership has passed to the dealer, out of their hands:crazy:ut::skep:

The dealers says they will make this up to us:devil:

The look, feel, and placement of the gauge is actually quite nice, it's the function of it that is rather silly and superfluous. You just need to come up with an nifty and undecipherable alternative description for it to enlighten and amaze your non-MINI indoctrinated friends while enabling preservation of your self-dignity (e.g., Hobbs Meter, Aetherometer, U/V Irradiance Exposure Monitor, Depreciationator, etc.). :wink:

 

Sounds terrific. Me and my Roadster S are excited for you. She won't disappoint.
