2nd Gen R59 Roadster Roadster on the way!

I thought it was silly too, but now it's a game to get it as high as possible. I like watching the needle whip around and the lights flash...

 

The look, feel, and placement of the gauge is actually quite nice, it's the function of it that is rather silly and superfluous. You just need to come up with an nifty and undecipherable alternative description for it to enlighten and amaze your non-MINI indoctrinated friends while enabling preservation of your self-dignity (e.g., Hobbs Meter, Aetherometer, U/V Irradiance Exposure Monitor, Depreciationator, etc.). :wink:

 

I'm thinking some kind of more useful gauge stuck to it with a suction cup...
