    I paid $28,000 for my first MINI so $36,650 off the boat was a choke and adding the dealer options to kick it to $41,587 was a gag, so I started to rationalize as humans tend to do. First - it is a Cooper S, second - it will have the main JCW parts, third - I'll get about $10,000 for my trade and fourth - no more kids riding in the back. Sold! :D

    Dealer called me today saying they have one on the lot, "S". I asked him when they will start to roll in regularly, he said in a couple more months. But $42k? :blush2: Guess it will all depend on what they want to give us for the wife's 09 MCS :fingerscrossed:

    Yikes, $42K. I suspect that most Roadsters on the dealer lot will sell for a premium. Otherwise customers must decide if it is worth it to wait it out with a custom order.

    I jumped the gun in thinking my Lightning had shipped earlier (it was really just on a carrier to port), but it actually shipped on Mar 12. So ordered Jan 15, Built on Feb 20, Shipped Mar 12, Pickup on Apr 15. 3 months in total exactly :)
