I would love to, but work gets in the way. Already taking next Wednesday morning off to close on the house.
Pesky work things... Oh wait..thats why I'll be chained to the desk over the weekend, to much fun today in the warm weather and tomorrow with a Countryman in the rain.
Here is my review. Nice enough, but didn't feel very roomy to me. The drive was OK, but not what I am used to. The clutch grabbed very high up & it felt like it could use a lower first gear or maybe a bit more power. It fits a niche & I'm sure they will sell a lot of them. Guess if I need a new MINI with a bit more room it will have to be a clubster.
I hated the clutch. :mad2: The rest of the vehicle was very nice, but you could feel the increased size and weight. I did the "cloverleaf" test before getting back to MAG and could feel a little more body roll than my r56 and r55. Just didn't feel quite as tight. Looking forward to seeing what the aftermarket will do for these. Oh, did I mention I hated the clutch...:frown5:
I really enjoyed the Countryman, but I have to agree about the clutch...felt like I was learning to drive a stick all over again.
Looks like we had a pretty good turnout at MAG yesterday. I understand Nathan was almost attacked by some high school groupies when they saw him touring past there school in the KISS Countryman
Ha! When I drove by the zoo on my way to the twisty roads the Zebra's tried to escape & hump old Alice Countryguy.
