Hahaha it's no big deal I just had no idea what you were asking but I see other have also replied.

They are just stickers that can be warmed up and peeled off. I myself like the look of a MINI without stripes.

A car painter friend hates vinyl stripes, when he stripes a car, he buries the painted stripes under a clearcoat. You can see his stripes, but you can't feel them.

^^^^ yup that's the right way to do it of you are 100% sure you like them.

If not there is no turning back without wet sanding and respraying the clear.

As often as I like to change the look painted stripes are not an option for me.

Same here, I am constantly looking, for what I haven't figured out yet. But if I see something that grabs my eye I do the Photo Shop thing and see how it will look, make changes if needed, bring to my vinyl guy, he cuts, we apply. I leave it on for a while to see how it feels, if it doesn't do anything for me off it comes, which happens more times than not. The wife just shakes her head now when I start talking about getting vinyl.

Paint is like a tattoo, you can do more with it, and make it better...

Vinyl is like the sticker you get in a Cracker jack box... Its only temporary, it might look good from a distance but not so much up close, and even if you do like it a few years down the road it will start to peel and need redone.

If that vinyl is on there long it is very hard to get off. The original flag had been on my mini for about 8 years. it faded and started to crack. It took 14 hours of VERY HARD work to get it off! :frown2:

Heat is the key! Then a wax and grease remover to take care of the glue remnants.
