Rough Idea of Where you are Traveling from? Year/Color/Style of your Mini?

We will be staying with family in Sevierville during MOTD. I am looking for the easiest/quickest way to get back and forth. It's about an hour and a half if I drive down 73 to Maryville and then 73/115 to Tallassee and 115/28 to Fontana. I notice that there is a road that starts near Townsend "Old Cades Cove Rd" and then turns into Parson Branch Rd to 115/28. It says "Closed in Winter". Is this a paved road and would it be open during MOTD? This would cut a bunch to distance off my "commute" each day. Thanks for any input you can offer.

Any Sunshine MINI's planning on coming up from Orlando on Wednesday have room for the boy child to follow. He works at Disney and is taking the time off. He's got a pearl yellow 07 MCS. Last time (08) he only had to come up from Charlotte, NC. He's got a bit longer haul this time.

 

Budget Rental Car at the Atlanta airport rents MINIs. I just asked this weekend when I was at the Atlanta Airport to confirm. The girl I talked to said it can be a little hit-or-miss, but that they do typically have MINI(s) to rent.
