I just remembered my spare RS axle does not have the bearing carrier that bolts to the engine. Anyone got one?
A junk yard may have one. Most times you have to reuse the one that's on your car when you replace axle.
Yes that's what happened. I got a new axle and had to use the old one but I don't want to be swapping the bracket if i need to replace it in a hurry. I'll do a Ebay search too!
So ask the yards for a price for broken axle. Then ask them to cut the ends off and send you just the part you need. :lol:
Good plan but the ones I called had a case of grumpy head and would not break the axles up???? or even try to.
