    Yes that's what happened. I got a new axle and had to use the old one but I don't want to be swapping the bracket if i need to replace it in a hurry. I'll do a Ebay search too!

    So ask the yards for a price for broken axle.
    Then ask them to cut the ends off and send you just the part you need. :rolleyes::D:lol:

    Bingo! $50 gets me the carrier and shaft less the CV jounts.

    A junk yard may have one.
    Most times you have to reuse the one that's on your car when you replace axle.

    Breakers yards want to sell the whole axle as does Mini(Thanks Emini parts for checking)

    Good plan but the ones I called had a case of grumpy head and would not break the axles up???? or even try to.
