    I got my RMW shorty header w/high-flow cat today. :D This will be installed tomorrow, then I drop some 450cc fuel injectors in and get a dyno tune from Jan on Friday. I'd say I'm done with power mods now, but I think I said the same thing after the pulley, CAI, and exhaust... :p

    It will not that much different if that's what you are expecting, but it will flow much better. It will not sound like an open header at all with a good exhaust.

    I can tell you it is really loud with a custom straight back exhaust with only (2) magnaflow resonators. :rolleyes::crazy::devil: I love it, my wife, not so much.

    Anyhow enjoy and you will "hear" me at the Dragon next year. :ihih:

    Thanks Dave. Based on what I'd read & everyone has said, I was expecting LOUD. I'd be OK if it were louder, but equally so if I don't royally piss off the neighbors when I come home...I actually still get along with a few right now LOL

    Either way, I know I'll be happy. The added performance is the primary goal, an enhanced R53 soundtrack is just gravy, the bonus points. :)

    Oh don't get me wrong it will be a little louder at WOT but not much at all putting around your neighbors.

    That's what I was secretly hoping for: maybe louder when I get on it & watch 5K, 6K go by on the tach.

    I gotta find you and the rest of the RMW crew at MOTD next year so I can admire the other MINIs that have Jan's magic touch, and especially hear The Mistress!

    Props to Whalen Shift Machine and Redline for my new interior bling! Great workmanship; all pieces look great in and of themselves, and installed. Worth every penny.

    Thanks gang :) That thing is gorgeous...almost too bad it's hidden! I can't wait to hear how my car sounds once this is in. Paired with the Invidia N1, I plan (hope, expect) to turn some heads around town :cornut: And I'm super-stoked to hear this thing echoing off the hills at the Dragon next year :devil:
