I say great! Bring it on. Everyone can then fight like hell to find the far and few between stations where they pump gasoline and diesel. Best'a luck. My daughter just got her first diesel (BMW X5) the Tuesday after Christmas and she's pissed all ready.

Oh well..... Join the rest of us diesel drivers in the hunt and drink in excess in between fill-ups. :skep:

I just noticed at my local fill up station, diesel was more than the 93 octane. $3.89.9 per gallon for diesel

Diesel prices have exceeded gasoline since 2004 in CA. How convenient as I had just bought Big Red in July 2003, guessing I'd save money and fuel. NOT. Fuel economy is a bit better, so overall I guess I'm still saving money. But, what a PITA it is sometmes when you have to have fuel. Guess maybe I need one'a those nav thingies.

Don't take that wrong, I used to be a diesel mechanic once upon a time. I like them, that's for sure.

I like 'em too. Diesel just needs to be available in more places.

And, drivers of gasoline powered vehicles need ta stay clear of the diesel pumps. Period.

Here in Hampton Roads, nearly every gas station also has diesel. I truly cannot think of a single "chain" that doesn't do it that way...but I could be mistaken, too.

Luck for you guys. You'ld think that with all the diesel trucks (pickups to big rigs) here in CA that'd be the case here too. But, it is not.

No problemo though. At least here locally I know where to get it.

That is because you don't live in "pick up" country. Every station around here has it. Farms all over the place. It is higher, but the F350 does better mpg then my MINI.
