    Does this mean MINI might be getting a 300hp 2.0T 4cyl in the near future?

    No because it would mean the new GP would be considered a Kia.:lol:

    If it did ever happen it would be after the R56 GP is out of production. The F56 is riding on the same platform as the next 1 series range.

    If MINI did use this engine it probably end up in a R60/61. I would have been happy if the N20T used in the Z4 28i, 328i, 528i, X1 28i, and X3 28i ended up under the bonnet in a R60/61.
