It will have turn signals & side view mirrors. Used properly you won't need a bunch of sensors going off every time a car drives by you.

Why do people think warning systems replace commen sense?

This won't be helpful, but here goes. To be honest I think all of these nannies taking a job away that the driver should be doing are a very bad thing. Seems to me a whole lot of that tech is doing nothing but dumbing down the driver not making them better in any way.
Here is a car full of nannies that tried to kill the meat-bag behind the wheel.

It probably will get them even if you don't want it...
Most automobile companies have to add things like this just to stay relevant with the next manufacturer...
You will slowly notice that what was once an option one year quickly becomes a standard, loaded in a package that you can't delete...
All the while pushing the model up in price.
And before you know it the MINI that was once reasonably priced, will soon have a base price of $38,500.00 -
Wait. They make Pink MINIs ... shoot.
It, sensors, would be a feature I wouldn't want in my MINI, sooo kay in my F150. Things don't need to be the same.
In my wife's Explorer, she has adaptive cruise control, cool, it slows adjusts to surrounding traffic, drive it for the weekend and you walk away thinking, this is cool, get in any other car and you nearly rear-end everyone waiting for the adaptive to kick in.
There are times, I drive offensively, in my MINI, as opposed to defensive driving, if anyones ever had a motorcycle, same thing, lots of full throttle, full break situations, when I do, I know my surroundings, it takes total concentration, I don't have time to look at lights and hear things in the car, I gots stuffs to do.
DISCLAMIER: if my insurance man is reading this, I'm just kidding.
