So.... to wrap this up. Keith made it back from Houston this weekend. Dropped my car off Saturday, picked it up Sunday. All is well, pulley installed. He noticed a couple of minor things I need to get taken care of.

Also, for anyone in San Antonio that needs non-dealer service, "Coopers, Bimmers and Benz" seems to be the place to go. The MINI guy there, Jesse, comes highly recommended. I'm going to try them out the next time I need work done (if Keith isn't available!).

Come to the Dragon and have one of the venders do it there. Dragon and a pulley more fun than a man is allowed to have!

Heard back from Keith already. He's spending most of his time in Houston these days so he can't do it.

Now, if I could just clear my calendar for the end of April......

I dropped my car off Saturday afternoon. That evening I had a series of pictures emailed to me showing some leaks and other issues. He is thorough and methodical. I hope he comes back to San Antonio permanently!

K-huevo is the man for the job. That guy does some very fine work. I used to love reading his threads on repairs.

Try to PM him from M/A and he will get an e-mail that you are trying to reach him.

Glad you got it worked out.

Not a personal recommendation (as I have never used them), but I've heard good things about Dr. Beemer in south Austin. 10% discount to AMCCC members.

I've heard good things about Dr. Beemer too. That was my fall back plan. Fortunately Keith was able to do the work and also recommend a San Antonio shop.
