Guess I should have asked to drive one. Loved seeing that color.

The surf blue they had there was really nice. I liked the graphics they did on it and the Oxford green. Here's a pic of my husband's Cosmic Blue with the new graphics-

I thought you said Smurf Blue not surf blue. My opinion of you just improved :)

So MAG says they would only give me 15k for my Clubman (2008, 32k miles, still under warranty etc.) and I am not going to mess with selling it privately any time soon so that means... no Countryman in my future for now :'(

That seems a bit low. Did you try carmax to see what they would give you? I've heard that they will buy your car for a decent amount sometimes.

    +1 ^

Try Carmax Robb, you never know they may make you a decent offer. Sure worth a shot.

I thought it was a bit low as well. We don't have any Carmax around us so we would have to wait until we drive back to Cbus again. If we do order a Countryman we will wait until September at least since we now have word from Motoringfile that the bench seat is coming out then. I think our two large dogs would appreciate that better than the individual seating when folded down. :)

It certainly *does* seem like when they say "MINIs have great resale value" they mean "at the dealer" and not for trade or private sale most of the time. But I've already mentally prepared myself to wait for a few years until I can find a AWD Countryman used from a lease trade-in or something... :)

    Sorry Ang....

I think the whole MINI has great resale value is nothing more than a tool MINI dealers use to help sell new MINIs. Once you try to trade one in you learn the truth. It's just a used car. :mad2:
