That's why I like to get features that would be hard or expensive to do later... Like the Mini connected thing... Just easier to get the package, IMO... I could care less about the social stuff, but I like that I can control my iPhone from the controls I like the Bluetooth connecting stuff... :)

I can understand that and the blue tooth option, may yet find itself on mine, but I would have to be certain I could use it with the top down. I did that after market on my current car and it was a lot of work. so we shall see.

You could use the bluetooth with the top down, but probably not well... LOL! I have a Jawbone Icon that I have used with my top down at freeway speed and the person on the other end had no problems hearing me, but I could barely hear them... So I rarely do that anymore. But I do like listening to my music with the top down, which should work just fine! Especially since the cabin area is so small...

But I figure, their Mini Connect is like $1k... For a decent head unit, you're looking at around $500 at least... Plus an iPod cable (which are ridiculously expensive) and possibly a wiring harness... And my time for the few hours of install (and cursing) of the new head unit, $1k for all what the Mini Connect thing does seems pretty reasonable... :D

I really like that Recaro seats are available. I just can't see them being $2k better than the OEM "Leatherette" sport seats (which I find good on the track and on long haul trips).

And sport seats are "standard" now. Black color line and black wheels are also "no cost".
