Made a little side trip yesterday. A great place to reflect and bring everything back into the proper perspective.

While spending a couple of days at my daughters house, over on the central coast, my son-in-law and I took in a Motörhead Monday at his buddy's house. This is a shot of the '82 Gurney Eagle they're restoring, hoping to make the vintage celebration at the 100th running of the Indy 500 this next May.

For quite a few mustang people yes the 2.3 isnt going to cut it. They probably still think about the 2.3 Fox bodys... However even back then the SVO was a decent hit... They could easily be made to outrun the 5.0...
Once people start upping the boost, going to big turbos, and building the new 2.3T as they do every other 4 cyl performance car... I think they will become something to contend with on the streets... Er "Track".-

While motoring around the back roads today I spotted two mgb coupes under the carport of an abandoned house. After a conversation with a neighbor, I learned they have been there for 20+\- years in their current condition. This one appears to be pre '68, the other is late '70's. The green one spoke to me. I know it's a terrible idea and a long shot, but Monday my quest to bring it home will begin.
