Back in the day we'd have said it looked like he spent a little too much time in the JC Whitney catalog.....

All that bling for the family sedan???? How many 18 1/2 year olds do you know that like to be seen in dad's commuter regardless of the camo?
(having ridden herd on two 18 1/2 year olds from a series of family sedans)
Thanks for the nudge on Whitney, I had forgotten. -

At one point in time, you could buy a 1962 Lotus Elite Kit from the Sears Catalog!
Body, chassis, wiring kit, engine & transmission, the whole thing.
All you had to do was assemble it.
Cost was around $1,200.00.
I always wondered how much it cost to print, ship all the catalogs that they did (JC Whitney). -

Kind of looks good all out of focus. I won't buy one, but they are kinda cute to look at.

It could have been the heat affecting me....
The dog splayed out flat in front of our floor fan with her chicken drumstick legs point towards the four points of the compass. Me.... I was rolling a tall neck across my forehead.... -

Yep. That is a "normal" S281 Saleen Mustang.
I'm a Mustang guy (stated many times before) but I've never liked these. The way they did the rearend is AWEFUL on good day with bad lighting. -

I forgot about this.....
I was at one of my buddies businesses yesterday. In his lobby is a very special racing engine.... And here I thought the mini engine was small...
Yes, I have "normal" size hands... It's a Crosley...
Built by one of my customers... Bud Wachholz...

Boy that brings back memories. My dad Bud Wachholz was the first to put a roll cage on a sprint car. -
