    That was an awesome aircraft... Too bad one crash in how many years of service took them out of commission.

    If I where the government I would have bought all of them, and used them to transport our troops back and forth from home to war zone and back. It would be cheaper than all the flights chartered on a daily basis, and definitely be faster than the 18 hours it takes to get to Kuwait now.

    Coming home for mid tour leave last time I was over there, I was crammed on a chartered 747-400 with 30 other people on the entire plane!

    Not saying I didnt like the 18 hour nap, sleep, coma, whatever you want to call it, sprawled out across the entire center row of 5 seats on the plane, but...

    I see better uses for the $$$.

    Hydro-dipping = water transfer painting?

    Saw some of this at a recent car show and was blown away at what was possible with it. That carbon-look paint looks impressive.
