Saw this in an exhibit hall at the county fair last weekend. I used to see this guy driving the truck around when I was a kid. (without the plane) I saw him land on the truck a few times at the local airport. IIRC the stall speed for this little plane is ~17-20MPH.
Saw this up in Old Quebec in front of the restaurant we were in.... Had to snap a couple of quick pic's of the old girl out on the town.......
I was at the auto part store getting a light bulb, as I got in my car there were no other cars in the lot. Before I started backing up I saw a guy walk in with a auto detailing shirt on. I didn't think anything of it. As I turned around to back up there are a nice Bentley GT parked behind me. hmm that wasn't there when I came out. Then I thought Do detailers make that much money or does his customers know he takes their cars out for drives?
Or do the customers know their highly paid detailer buys carp detailing stuff at the local parts store??
SCCA Runoffs @ Laguna Seca... The pit for Huffaker Engineering before today's competition. Results: Joe Huffaker, in the #77 Mini, wins in GTL, bringing home his 9th national championship after accumulating 13 poles. Congratulations Joe!
Back when the SCCA merged GT-4 and GT-5 into GTL that spelled the death of the Mini into the winners circle, except for now. I got some real close looks at the #77 at MO and it is an amazing car (rear wheel drive). Good to see them back where they belong.
When they built tube frames & went rear wheel drive those cars ceased to be Minis in my mind. Isn't a Mini about fwd? They are now just funny cars of the SCCA.
While not the infamous four wheeled work horse from the past, I did take a ride with REO Speedwagon tonite..!
Saw a bunch of exotics down in Hocking Hills yesterday. They left from Bob Evans in Canal Winchester before I got there. Did see a 924 getting pulled out of a ditch on the way to HH.
