A serious accident happened yesterday afternoon within our local Fire Service brotherhood. Many of you may have seen or heard of the Fresno FD Captain who sustained serious burn injuries after he fell through the roof, while engaged in a vertical ventilation evolution. The attached photo depicts the moment just before the roof collapsed beneath him.
