I can attest to the quality of these belts as I witnessed Blimey during his best Dukes of Hazard imitation stay snug and properly in his seat as his car left the bonds of this earth for a second or two..... The condition of his shorts afterwards, thankfully I cannot attest too.. [emoji33]

I do believe with a slight modification to some plastic bits these also will work in a second generation MINI. I have no idea if they work in a 3rd generation MINI.

I'm putting Schroth Hybrid II six point in for the track when I'm solo, and going to try to install a used pair of Schroth Autocontrol II's I bought for HPDE / street, if I can make them work. If not, I'll do something different for the street. I'll have harness bars, so...
Only reason I'm not keeping the Quick Fit is that the outside buckle interferes with the adjuster assembly on my new seats - won't peacefully coexist. Tried it a few ways and decided to punt.-

Free bump for a great set of belts from a good guy.
These are the same belts most of us run at the Dragon and other events. -

Thanks Nathan. True statement - a bit of plastic trimming (non structural, non-safety-related) will make them work in a 2nd gen. I'd be surprised if the belt system in 3rd gen cars was so different... but this is speculation.
Someone else's photo of a modified buckle to fit the second gen Mini - you just trim a bit of plastic off the bottom edge of the harness buckle that plugs into the OEM seat belt receptacle. Mine have not had this mod... but if you buy them, you can do it!

I have a set of these as well. They really help to keep you from sloshing around in your seat. Short of going 5 point harness with cage, the best option for your MINI for stock or aftermarket seats. And they are made specifically for Gen 1 MINI so they are accepted by pretty much all the track clubs.
