Who's going? I'm planning to be there on business, with some of my LA car friends. I'm going on business, they are going mostly for fun. We should do a MINI meal sometime during the week. CD
Yeah, I know what you're saying. I may take out the camera once I get my business done. One of my friends works for "garage" in Burbank, but he's not the kind of guy to take advantage of that like I would. He doesn't even drink.Thats two more reasons I don't have his job. :frown2: He does like a good cigar, as do I. Cars food and cigars. That's all we have in common. At least we have a designated driver. The other guy I know is one of my best friends from college, back in the early 80s. He drinks. Two other guys are supposed to join us. I'm told I know one of them, but I remember faces... and what you drive. I'll probably see him and address him as, "Audi S4 cab!" CD
Hay do you have a good camera to take? I don't want to see any of those cheep iPhone pictures you keep posting. I do have a Canon A1 I can loan you. Lucky Dog!
Bump. Anyone going? MCS02, I don't know if I will bring the D4, or just put the Canon G12 in my pocket for this event. My business mission isn't photography, this time. I'm not a gambler, and either are my friends joining me, so evenings will be all about eating good food, drinking good drinks, and maybe a cigar if we are in the mood. If anyone out there will be at SEMA, maybe we can break some bread together. CD
Well, I'm on the plane to Vegas. Bumped into Richard and Dennis from F&L at the gate. They're up in first-class, of course. Richard's gonna' be pissed -- no Miller Lite on the beer list. :biggrin5: Halloween in Vegas is always interesting. CD
Must see booths: 20071, where the X-1 is. 50445, futura trailers. 'Cause I need more info on their single axle trailer.
I rented a 2-bed, 2-bath suite for me and my friends. It is very convenient to the LV airports. VERY! :eek6: Here is a view from my bedroom window...
One of my friends, "Bubbles" from Jay Leno's garage. He's one of the guys sharing the bigass suite with me at SEMA. And, he doesn't drink. Imagine what he would do if he did drink. :eek6: CD .
More fun with the Caseydog SEMA crew. Korean BBQ at a really awesome joint called Gangnam BBQ -- real name. We stuffed our selves for about 40-bucks a person, for our last night at SEMA 2016. It was some righteous food, too. CD .
Along with a bunch of tote bags and tool-cabinet stickers, I brought a nice virus back with me from SEMA. :sosp: I've felt terrible for the last 48 hours. Fever, aches, chils, barfs -- general crappiness. CD
