Yeah, I had that same thought when I saw Region 2 and PAL.

But isn't Blu-ray an international standard?

 

Just watched it on my TV. Totally awesome, engaging and emotionally draining. A must for any racing fan.

 

How did you do that?

 

A mutual friend got a hold of the torrent which he shared with me. A VLC running on MacBookPro connected to my 58 inch plasma and I was able to watch it in its full HD glory. PM me your addy and I can send you a DVD, if you like.

 

Went to the Landmark Theater in the Westside Pavilion (in LA) at the 4:50 showing yesterday and saw the Senna documentary. Very well done film. The Director was there and spoke after the showing.

 

Saw it today and it is well worth it. He was truly an outsider and was screwed over so many times I can see how he may have wanted to quit on a number of occasions. Amazing in car footage, primitive by todays standards , but in many ways much more dramatic. Those last shots of him in the car you can tell that was the last place he wanted to be at that moment. I do find it amazing that after both deaths at that event there has not been another in F1 since. The safety level has been raised substantially. Great movie for the F1 fan !

I watched the movie on a plane (Cathay Pacific) a couple of weeks ago. I watched it twice. Very well done. I have never really been into Formula 1, but now I am a fan!

 

Heads up that the Senna film is currently available on Netflix streaming in HD. Looks pretty good!

Plan to purchase the BluRay in March from Amazon.
