Has anyone had any problems with their oil sensors, on 2012 Mini Coopers?
    How about the window drains?
Also, how about the cooling fan? Mine came on many minutes after stopping the car.
The dealership has had this Mini more time than I have.
I also have an '04 Cooper that has never needed a service department except for routine maintenance.
    Help..

:cornut: Right again Dave:biggrin5:. Unfortunately my MARGI(08 R56 MCS/JCWm) has had Dealership warranty and post warranty fixes too numerous to list here:mad2::mad5::incazzato:. But I love driving her so I don't care especially, when she's blowing R53s off of the road.:drool:ihih::lol::lol::lol::Thumbsup:

Welcome to Motoring Alliance, thanks for joining.

Sorry the replies above have not been of any help so far, some people can't let go of their model bias long enough to be useful at times...

Can you tell us what sort of issues you have with the sensors? Why has the dealer tried at this point and what is happening with the car. You only ask if there are problems with the oil sensor, you don't tell us what the sensor is doing or not doing.

A few more details as to what the problems are can help us to help you.

    Welcome to the Alliance.

Not sure which MINI you have. Mine is an 09 justa and the fan coming on (at times) after shut down is normal. Mine has only been to the dealer for regular service. As Nathan said, more details would help.

:cornut: No bias here(08 R56 MCS/JCWm remember?). I love my car and wouldn't trade her. The truth is that she's had many issues as Mini12 said that he has had. My car doesn't have an oil sensor(if she did, believe me, she'd have a gauge) and I saw a good opportunity for gentle badinage with Dave O(an ardent R53 fan). It is mine and Dave's duty to report the truth unless of course you're against that.

I have a 2012 Clubbie and my wife has a 2011 convertible and no real issues so far. I did have to change the thermostat due to the fan running contuinuously but nothing else
