R56 TSBs (Mediafire shared folder)
Up to nearly 100 now. At some point I'll make a detailed post with individual links and titles/descriptions.
As for 1st gen stuff, doubtful. There is enough 2nd gen to keep me busy for awhile. I did find two for the 2011 R56/R60 N18 engine. They were grouped together. One was for for sport mode "burble/backfire is normal" (SIM180210) and the other was for cold start wastegate rattle, also "normal" (SIM100110).

I'm looking into this. From first glance it will require a database and search function as there are 467 Service Bulletins from 2001-2010 models at this point. I looked into purchasing an AllData subscription but BMW/MINI is not listed. In fact most of the German Automakers are not listed on AllData.
I've looked into getting this info from a friendly dealer too, however, they state that MINI codes the bulletins for each dealer and comes down on dealers making this info public.
I've put on my white board as a long term project to obtain, maintain and keep a TSB listing. -

Maybe the TSBs from the dealer could be redacted, CIA style, to preserve confidential sources?

No wonder it's so hard to find the actual text of the TSBs. Anyone know if they are available on the Mini Tis site?
Not sure if this data is accurate but I've found some of them here.

Nate, not that you have a lot of spare time on your hands, but also if anybody has a PDF of the SIM bulliten that would be very helpful too. Just to add more work, what about recalls (which there hasn't been yet) or warranty extensions, such as with HPFP

Does MINI ever notify owners about TSB's or do they fix them automatically when you take them in for service. Seems kinda odd that it is up to the owners to find the TSB's and have their cars fixed.

The way I have seen it work is if an owner comes in with a complaint that there is a TSB for they will fix it. Come in without the complaint & it doesn't get fixed or even mentioned. Knowledge is power, print off the TSB & show it to the nice SA.
I had a certain unnamed SA at an unnamed dealer lie through his teeth about a TSB for my MINI. MINI used the wrong trans fluid in LSD equipped cars. We went round & round for a while with him denying such a TSB existed. He did offer to change my trans fluid for their going rate though. I then handed the nice man a copy of MINI's TSB. He turned red & said OK we will do it. I had a bit of fun asking him why he felt he needed to lie to me. Was it because 2 quarts fluid was too expensive or was it the 10 minutes of shop time? Never did give me an answer to that.ut:
This is a great service to owners to list all know TSB's on M/A.
A big thanks to Yelo!!! :cornut: -

All the TSB PDFs that I've found from the TIS:

You should be able to link each up to the original post as they are individual PDFs. 22 so far! More will be added as I find them. -

Something to be aware of, not all the 2nd gen bulletins apply to all the 2nd gen cars.
For example, I complained loudly that my seat heaters were too damn hot, the dealer "checked" them and said they were in spec. Later I found the bulletin with the resistor cable and tried to get them to install one under warranty and they said my car already had the cable in it, that all the cars did after a certain year/serial number.
None of this made my seat heaters any more comfortable to use, so I ordered the cable myself (only $17 btw) and I'm going to see if I can daisy chain them and cool things down to a reasonable level. -
Up to about 70 files now. That will be all for awhile.
