FACT: The shark injector only advances the timing (ALOT) and bumps the rev limiter. it does nothing else.
We have retuned many cars that had the shark injector and this is what we saw on each of them. I don't recommend it.-

I have. Programmed by Jim Conforti, an early chip tuner who had some success in BMWs in the 90s. The Shark Injector increases timing and takes fuel away. I have seen fewer than 10 bottom end failures on R53 cars over the years: three of them had the Shark Injector in them.
Not complaining, just explaining.
BTW one of those cars was what later became the Wildebeest. Somebody else's misery became my joy. Sorry.

The Shark Injector was viable a few years ago before better options came along.
Another one you will probably see if you search around a bit is MTH. Was all the rage for a while, now not so much. -

When I hear Shark injector I hear the theme from Jaws.

You guys on the east and west coast have it easy with all the tuners localy. All around me require a appt;, a 500 mile or longer drive one way and a motel to spend a day or two to get a tune and a chance to get on a dyno.

Good thing about tge mini is you can do an amazing amout of mods before you really NEED a tune to get the car running right. Wanting is another...but many places CAN put a canned tune on you ecu...just ship it off to wmw...pay for overnight....and in a few days, you can have a decent canned tune.
Just remember, canned tunes are less tolerant of future mods than the stock tune...so finish all you motor mods, THEN TUNE. Vonsider to be an ending step, unless you want to retune...so it gets $$$.
