    Your dreams are not crushed. You have to pull up on the shift knob to remove it. Takes a good bit of pulling hard. Careful you don't slam your hand into the roof when it does release.

    Thanks!! I saw that part. But do you know if there's after market weighted shift knobs for the mini?

    I have Whalen knobs in both my MINI's. Their both custom design.
