    :cornut: Yes. I got the little 2in stubby during a 'sale' at Alta some years ago. My reception wasn't affected at all. I listen to FM stations 70-90mi away in the Dallas/Ft Worth metroplex no problem.Plus the Alta name adds 3hp(Tee Hee):Thumbsup:

    I replaced my original antenna with the factory stubby antenna-absolutely no change in performance in town or rural areas.

    I bought mine from miniconcarne, it was the first mod I ever made :D I believe he sells these onces in awhile for a very reasonable price.
