It sounds like it needs an Italian Tune-Up :biggrin5: If you go on the Brewery Tour with us this weekend, I think that will qualify for the tune-up that you need :beer:beer:beer

Haha, I wish I could!!! Unfortunately I already had plans on the calendar with some friends coming from out of town. Hopefully there will be another brewery tour soon!

My R50 does that. I just assumed its the 10 years of maintenance that i know mostly nothing about. What is the Italian Tune-Up? I'm planning on getting a tune up in a couple pay checks but I havent looked into what all i should do (besides the usual oil, filters, spark plugs, etc.)

I would recommend oem plugs, a set of ignition wires, an air filter & an oil change. Your car needs synthetic oil & an oem oil filter. Ask me about this Saturday while I swill coffee & eat donuts. :donut1:

Jason Montague New MemberLifetime Supporter:cornut: 'Italian Tune Up'= From a slow or standing start, floor it, speed shift just prior to red line while running through the gears. When 6th gear is reached, check rear view mirror for Police Cruisers and ease it back down to warp factor one. Blows a lot of the carbon out of the engine. FIRST!!!!! do those things that crashton told you to do. Never stress an engine needing maintainance.

I haven't checked any codes mainly because I don't know how yet...I've only had the MINI for a few months and haven't had a need to. The MINI is in the shop now getting some new tires so I'll try to check it out in the next day or two

We can check codes for you too...
