LOL not skid marks:lol: The tires started pulling up the floor paint so I put the mats down. But, my wife misses them 9 times out of 10rrr:
What you need to do is tape down a small piece of wood, the width of your MINI for your wife to drive up to, then she can't miss. Or you could be really irritating and suspend a tennis ball from the ceiling, that comes to rest excactly on the windshield where you want your MINI stopped, you could even post a message on the ball, like "Don't slam the doors" :cornut:
Well Id say a bunch of you are very lucky or you dont have a yard to take care of lol. I really wish I could have a garage that clean! Nice work!
We have a potting shed for lawn and garden stuff. My side of the garage is usually pretty clean, but the rest of it is out of my hands. I'll have to get a photo of it. It is a neat set up with cupboards, drawers, and a counter. However, we are going to be moving soon and we cannot take it all with us (moving to the current house, we had taken all our garage drawers and cupboards with us.)
Yeah I have another garage in the back of my property and have a lawn service so it helps My Garage is for the cars only.
I had this thought that there ought'a be a showcase for our personal garages and intended to start one, when what-do-ya-know... here's the thread - albeit dead... So, in an effort to ressurect this great idea, here's a few picks of our garage. Enjoy and show us all some more! :beer opcorn:
Man, y'all got it good on the garage front... Ours is freaking tiny. If I had anything BUT the MINI, it would not fit! My wife has an Escape and you have to pay attention while parking otherwise you fold a mirror. If it was a full sized truck it would be outside. Less than a foot outside either side of the doors and only about 6" from the mirrors to the door frames. MINI has more breathing room, but still tight. Ridiculous. Just reorganized (Got a new fridge, so I get the old one! Woohoo!) and hung some new fluorescents and it is like an O.R. in there now. Next step is to get a storage shed for all the yard crap... and cabinets and countertops for workbench. Hate having all that crap out on shelves.
Mine had open shelves all around getting "most" of them out and replaced with cabinets made a huge difference, just don't open the door on the right....
What you can't see is the FORZA FERRARI flag I got back at the Phoenix GP... It is on the wall where the door is I am shooting through.
I have had a shed (Lowes) outside for all the yard and pool stuff for years. Don't know what I'd do without it. The cabinets (OSH) make all the difference in the world when you can close the doors on the contents. This is my first fully detailed garage, ever. It took some time and extra bucks, but it was all worth the investment.
i wish my garage was as nice as all yours. Its still a work in progress, but my mini doesnt get to use the garage.
This isn't MY garage, but it was built to my specs for ME to work in, lol. It belongs to one of my clients who originally went to buy a JCW but didn't fall in love with it, and instead went home with this M6. I've been maintaining this car since he bought it in 2007, he used to drive 50 miles to bring it to me, eventually he decided to build a special garage for it to lure me over to his house instead. How could I resist? It was truly an amazing experience. What kind of products will you find in the Ultimate Garage? Prima of course.
