Nice Shawn, it will be worth the effort. Staring with a clean shell is the way to go. I bet you have many hours in that shell for sure.

Thanks, there's a lot of time making room for the front subframe (yes I'm still running an A-series). It's going to be a very radical car when it's finished!

NAS Lemoore is just 30 minutes south of us. We have some MidCal Minis club members who live there and you're certainly welcome to come and join us at a meeting when you get settled. Drop me a PM or an email and I'll send you some details.

If you're here before the 29th of September, come and join the Valley British Auto Club's car show in Clovis. Run Saturday - Car Show Sunday... :beer

I have been using Auto House in Clovis, Ca. for Reggie and Darrel and gang have been great. Clovis is in the city next door to Fresno. Only the change in the color of the street signs clue you in that you have actually changed cities. I can hear the Clovis folks groaning now. Anyway, easy trip from Lemoore.

There's a local British car shop in addition to what Kiki stated above. There's also a few trustworthy classic Mini guys in the circle that can always lend a hand.

Get in touch when you're settled and I'll buy the 1st pint. :beer

I love the classic mini guys, keep posting them up.

I have a file that I have added them too and they make an excellent screensaver.

Ah yes, but US Minis don't have those park lights in the headlights, ours use sealed beams, which have a high and low beam (dipped) built in, but no park lights. On our cars the park light is in the turn signal - they light up steady, with a second element that's brighter that lights up for turns. I maintain she has a bad ground, that's usually the cause of a dim headlight.
