Same as above, although I flipped the bracket to place it on the left side.

No real trick, the existing silver spacers are press fit in. They were easy to work out with vice grips. I did need to put small washers on the screws in the new position.

It's not that expensive. It's a quality product, especially considering your other options are either suction cups or a thing you jam into your cd slot. I'm old school, I still use my cd'sHow crazy is it that cd's are now old school :beer

I have used a big chunk of plasticine clay as a temporary mount for my tablet. Work it in your hands until it warms up, stick it to the dash wherever you want to mount the device and squish your tablet onto the plasticine.

Kids today will never experience the character-building exercise of removing twenty feet of tape from a tape deck without ruining it. :mad2:

I have one of the things you jam into the CD slot. CDs are soooooo 20th Century.

Very true my friend. First car had an AM radio... That's it. My Camaro had an 8 track. Moving to a cd player was like stepping into a newer, better, crystal clear sounding world :cornut: I still listen to cd's at home. Just something about em I'll never out grow. -
I don't listen exclusively to cd's, but I do have some classics that I enjoy fairly often in the car. Sometimes I kinda wish I could play my old Ozzy tapes -

A friend had a record player that screwed on to the floor on the transmission hump. It would only play 45 rpm records and you pushed them into a slot like a big CD player. The speaker was part of the unit, so it was self contained, it plugged into the cigarette lighter

wouldn't that make it really difficult to read the screen when using the phone as a GPS?
