Interesting, as you can see I'm not seeing the same thing at all.
Possibly browser dependent, what browser are you using please. Also check the version of said browser.

Could also be the font size specified within the browser. Larger font may displace other items on the screen

But shouldn't the scroll bar account for that?
I'm using IE7, no choice on that as I'm at work and they dictate pretty much everything to do with our computers - I can't even change the screen resolution. -
Is this a new issue or has been going on for sometime?
Has there been a recent update to the PC?
I realize you have no control over the computer so this may be very difficult to fix. I did test in IE8's IE7 developer mode and do not see the same issue.
Anyone else out there having the same problem? -

Wow, I stand (or sit) corrected. Until Dave mentioned it, I never even knew there were more smiles on the first screen. I always clicked the [More] link
Here's what I see on my PC.
I do notice that the column width for the last column is slightly wider and I attribute that to the Beer-drinker emoticon that takes more space due to the moving graphic.
Its not a big issue for me.Attached Files:

Those of you seeing this, what browser are you using please.

BTW...there is a drop down selection in the editor too where all of them are in a single easily selectable list.
I took the liberty of adding a visual aid to the image below to help you find it. <- picked from drop down

For what it's worth, I did 3 tests using IE6, IE7, & IE8. Of all 3 only IE6 displayed all the emoticons properly. IE7 and IE8 were not able to display all the emoticons properly. I didn't bother for FF, or Chrome, or IE9
