Took my MINI (R53) to the dealer for an oil change and got a good look at the donut circuit.

Man the Vancouver area sure is getting a lot of show this winter. I'm guessing that is somewhat unusual. For us folks in Ohio it has been missing us so far.

Yes...this is rather unusual. But it has not broken any records. I think the last time Vancouver had this much or more snow over Christmas and New Years as in 1969. It's raining now so all the snow will be gone in a day or two.

We'll now return to our regularly scheduled programming and send the snow to Ohio now. ;)

I did not take Wasabi out as it's on summer tires and was under 8 inches of snow, but got the daily out and made fresh tracks down to the lake for the storm rolling out and took this with the drone.

My MINI stayed all nice and comfy in the garage. Why have an Audi, and drive your MINI in snow?

A MINI with a set of skinny of snow tires works great in the snow. Good fun, pull the e-brake for maximum giggles. :D

If you have LED headlights and proximity sensors, I found out one of the problems with freezing rain and low temperatures is those electronics don't get warm enough to melt the snow off. The Countryman kept thinking we were going to crash everytime I slowed down.

This year, the winter tires more than justified their effort and cost to have them on.
