...I ended up buying one off the lot! Here is what I came home with... She's a Reef Blue Cooper S Hatch that was pretty well loaded with Technology, Cold Weather, Perf II packages and Xenons to boot. I ended up getting waaay more that I was planning to order for for just a little more $$$. I want to thanks everyone here at MA for all the info that has help me in my plotting and scheming. It's funny how this little blue car can make me smile so much. I haven't had this much fun driving in years! Now if I can just keep things reigned in a bit until I get through the break in period. Motor On! -John
Reef blue is a really nice color in person, congrats on your new MINI and make sure you post some more pictures
Congratulations! The same thing happened to me. They had one on the lot with more options than the one I designed and was also cheaper. It feels good driving it home the same day, rather than waiting for it to come in on a ship, doesn't it? Dave
Thanks for all the thumbs up! I am still coming to terms with the fact that I finally own a MINI. This was 6 months in the planing. I still crack a smile when I approach it in the parking garage at work. Now I have to stop driving it long enough to start planning the initial mods. My Platypus front plate mount is on it's way. Then on to stripes (wide rally I'm thinking)...tinting...Gauges... Can't forget the performance... My wife thinks that now that I have my MINI this process is done. -John
Nice ride! oh dear.....time to start coaching the spousal unit on the "continual improvement of all processes" requirement
That's pretty cool John. I'm glad you're finally able to experience the awesomeness of owning such an amazing ride. Oh, and don't forget.....more pics!!!
Just be sure to get her a few gifts , send her to the spa for the day and she wont even care that you are blowing the kids inheritance........:cornut:
