Promini has them new for the same price shipped. Got mine a few weeks ago.

I missed updating that I received my 15% pulley from Way on Friday 10/1. Now for the installation.

 

Yeah, it's a great deal!! The tool has a nice soft handle, and comes with a pin to lock the tensioner. They've had a hard time keeping them in stock at that price--it kills me when someone on the sewing site puts one of these up for a hundred bucks without the pin, and not as nice as the Promini one is with that handle...

 

Hmm, mine didn't come with a pin, or maybe it did and I threw it away with the packaging.

 

Maybe see if they'll send you one gratis--it's nice, because it's angled, I can insert the pin with one hand while using the tool fairly easily in the opposite hand. Without it, using a small screwdriver, it's almost a two person job (at least for me, it's not an spot to get at with a something straighter).

 

Yeah, I was using needle nose pliers to hold a small allen key with a headlamp for light. PITA. I'll give 'em a call.

bent hangar wire to the rescue! It's cheap, and it's as long as you want it.

I have an old allen key that I attached a zip tie to, works great for me.

 

I used to do this... now I use a model rocket launch rod I found lying around in the garage. Much higher geek-tech points that way. :cornut:
