I go to Big O tires. I have pretty good luck with them. Over the years I have gotten about 8 sets of tires from them so they know me also.

I've had nothing but great experiences with Tire Rack on new rims and tires. I bought 5 of each a few years back and had to replace a pair of tires a month or so ago. I used their new ASAP Tire service... Tire Rack ships to the local installer and they bring your new tires to your home and do the install, balance and mounting in your driveway. It was $25 or so per wheel and was super easy to deal with (and very COVID friendly if you are minding that kind of stuff as carefully as we are in my household). I walked out, opened the garage door, pointed to my car up on jack stands, showed him the wheels/tires to do and pointed to the power and air lines if he wanted 'em. 1 hour later the tires were on and the car was ready to go. I scheduled everything on-line right after I placed my TireRack.com order (the install place sent me an email w/ a scheduling link about 15 seconds after my tire order had been completed). Super easy and a fair price, IMHO.

The R56 was throwing a code for the thermostat sensor and leaking a little coolant. I ordered a new thermostat from Amazon, and it suggested I also replace the coolant pipe, so I added that also.
Two weeks ago it was bitter cold, negative temps, so what better time to replace those parts? I pulled the thermostat, but could not get the pipe out. I got overly aggressive and broke the end of the pipe, no choice but to change it now.
I decided I had to pull the intake after reading a couple of articles and struggled with that - especially the lower bolt. I was able to get it off and get the pipe out. Then I could not get the new pipe to seat into the water pump and at midnight I quit for the day. Early the next morning I went back at it and got the pipe to seat pretty easy - a few more hours and it was all back together. I filled the overflow with coolant and it poured out at the pipe to water pump area. I'm guessing the o-ring got pushed out on the bottom where I could not see it. I was done. My back was killing me, hands looked like I had fought a badger and it was worse than when I started.
I considered setting the car on fire or just driving it to CarMax and take whatever they would give me. I calmed down a bit and sent an email to Johnny the car Ninja, from Hoovies Garage videos to see what he would charge. Johnny replied on Monday to give him a call. I called and explained the situation and he said that pipe HAD to be an OEM part, aftermarket just don't work. He said he could do it for $294, but he didn't need to. Confused, I said yes it still need to get done. He said, "yeah, but you have already done the work. I know it isn't fun, but you know how to do this, just get the right part and do it again." I hung up with him and thought about it, ordered the correct part and the next weekend got it all done in about four hours. Comparing the aftermarket to OEM the aftermarket pipe was about 1/4" longer and must get tweaked when you tighten the thermostat.
Car runs great, doesn't leak and has no codes. I can't say enough about how nice Johnny was, motivating me while turning away work.-
